Brainstormers collaborates with
the Guerrilla Girls. Together, they GET MAD!Brainstormers joins forces with the Guerrilla Girls in this action for feminists and anti-feminists. Those who are fed up with the Chelsea galleries that show at least 3 times as many male artists as female can participate in their mad-libs style postcard campaign. But those who are happy with this archaic attitude can join MAN (Male Art Now) to protest the many recent museum exhibitions devoted to feminism.
This event occured on SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008, during Work! A Day of Collaborative Performanceis in conjunction with the exhibition, Making It Together: Women's collaborative Art & Community at the Bronx Museum curated by Carey Lovelace.
